It’s just amazing to see your work mam, thank you soo much for sharing your knowledge and skills with us! And mam, why red wooden beads, y not Terracotta beads itself mam? Is it for the time or another reason mam?

    1. paintedEarthbyneha

@Sushmitha Nagarajan nothing wrong with that too! Most of my jewellery are all terracotta, but sometimes I do like experimenting with mixed media. To add variety to the collection. But if you want keep it all terracotta, of course you can! ?

@paintedEarthbyneha yes mam, I can get your perspective.. I had a closed thought that, every bead we use should be of clay.. idea of mixing and matching is really working good.. thank you for your time and clear explanation.. ❤️

Thank you so very much ??
It’s just a personal choice, one can obviously use any material they want. I have used red wooden beads here as the hole size of the bead is big enough for my 3mm cord to enter. I have terracotta beads of the same size, but the hole isn’t that big. It also makes the set lighter. Plus the color goes well with the kind I had in mind. Hope this answers your query.

I have become a fan. I almost saw all your videos. Such a patience and beautiful work. I am glad I came to know this channel and inspired me to learn this as well and not everyone share their techniques. I really appreciate your effort and way of explaining it.

Truly an inspiring video…it gives me such a pleasure to watch it.Thank u mam.
I have a doubt regarding the varnish…is that the only varnish to be used???is that available in Amazon??? Pl.clarify.

    1. paintedEarthbyneha

      Thank you so much ✨?
Nope, I am sure there are other products out there that can be used. You can try brands like liquitex and Brustro. I usually have a small checklist before choosing a varnish :
      – non yellowing
      -odorless
      -quick drying
      -water resistant
-can be used on acrylic paints
      – brush cleaning should be easy with water
-varnish can be diluted with water
Hope this helps you decide on a product that’s available to you.

Hi Neha .. I’ve been watching yur videos recently .. seriously you are doing a great job .. beautiful.. skillful.. well explained mam . ?? .. mam , I have one doubt , should we bake the jewel soon after it dries ?? Or we can bake whenever we want or is there any time restriction?

    1. paintedEarthbyneha

Thank you so much! Glad you like our videos and content I upload. To me, you can fire it at a later point. It’s just that, when your work is dry (bone dry), it’s very fragile. So one needs to extra care. I have fired my work even after 45 days of making it. So no rush there 🙂

  8. keerthana srinivasan

Hai mam… Today i made a 1 pendant by seeing ur videos and some doubts cleares by u.. It helped a lot.. Thank u for tat ?..
Also please tell me whether varnish is compulsory?

    1. paintedEarthbyneha

      That’s very good to know.
I never use to varnish my products for a very long time. I have never had problems with it. But some customers might ask for it. Also varnish can help retain the brightness and color on your work. I have preferred the earthy look in terracotta jewellery so I would say its a personal choice.
